About Dr. Monica Johnson, DNP, APRN

Dr. Monica Johnson is a Dual Board-Certified nurse practitioner for Adult Gerontology Primary Care & Family Psychiatry in Florida who has been practicing since 2015. While in graduate school, she developed a continued deepened passion for bridging the gap between Primary Care and Mental Health. Her Community Health background led to a developed interest for patient education regarding the need for appropriate bridge of care to facilitate disease prevention and Mental Health Awareness. Her continued passion as a Doctoral Prepared Dual Certified Nurse Practitioner continues to be helping to serve the community for Behavioral Health with the intent to promote effective health outcomes. Dr. Johnson provides evidence-based practice care for clients to provide safe effective outcomes. Outside of work, Dr. Johnson loves to skate, cook, decorate, and spend time with family. Her greatest accomplishments are being married and seeing that her daughter that works as a nurse at a local hospital and her son that’s a firefighter at a local station are trail blazers within the community.
