Dr. Ívan Rodríguez-Flores is a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed clinical psychologist, who received advanced fellowship training in neuropsychology with AdvendHealth Hospital and AdventHealth Medical Group in Orlando, FL. Dr. Rodríguez-Flores works with young and older adults who have experienced brain changes related to various medical, neurological, and neuropsychiatric conditions, such as concussions, brain tumors, stroke, dementia, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis. In addition to his outpatient experience, Dr. Rodríguez-Flores has clinical experience providing services in facilities that have been awarded accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), such as inpatient neurorehabilitation units, ALF's, and SNF's. Dr. Rodríguez-Flores’ research experience and interest include traumatic brain injury, dementias, and cross-cultural issues.

Dr. Rodríguez-Flores also has clinical experience with medical and health psychology issues and has experience conducting psychological clearance evaluations for surgical procedures, such as bariatric surgery, spinal cord stimulator, and organ transplants. Dr. Rodríguez-Flores is a member of the National Health Register of Health Service Psychologist, American Psychological Association, National Academy of Neuropsychology, and Hispanic Neuropsychological Society. Dr. Rodríguez-Flores’ approach is rooted in a biopsychosocial model, placing an emphasis on an empathic and holistic approach to his evaluation and treatment of patients.
