Justine Adams is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida who has been practicing since 2016. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Central Florida. Justine’s approach to therapy is to meet clients where they are at and accept them for who they are. Justine utilizes a strengths-based approach, meaning that you are going to use your strengths and skills to create healthy changes and you are going to celebrate all progress and growth along the way. Her goal is for everyone to drop the mask while in therapy and be honest. Justine communicates with you the way that she communicates with people in her own support circle: she is gentle and capable of being direct and challenges you when necessary for perspective and growth. Justine is not afraid to use humor in therapy when appropriate! She saves the jargon for textbooks and aims to use language that everyone can understand and apply. Justine lets clients know these are THEIR sessions. Although she can help them understand the purposes of therapy and can educate on skills and techniques, it is their space to vent, process, ask for feedback, etc. They know themselves better than Justine knows them, so they work together to find a process that they find helpful and fulfilling. In her spare time, Justine loves to dance, loves food, and loves everything to do with Halloween!
