Dr. Barrington is a clinical neuropsychologist and the Clinical Services Director for LifeStance Health. She is skilled in several areas within behavioral health, including individual therapy with adults, crisis intervention, psychological assessment, and pediatric neuropsychological and psychological assessment.
Her education and training include a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from New College of Florida, in Sarasota, Florida, and a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology (MSPP) in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Barrington completed a 30-hour per week pre-doctoral internship at Faulkner Hospital (Harvard-affiliated hospital), on the adult inpatient psychiatric unit. The following year, she completed a full time, APA-approved pre-doctoral internship at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, conducting individual therapy with college students and performing neuropsychological evaluations for adults. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship at North Shore Medical Center/MassGeneral for Children (Harvard-affiliated hospital), providing therapy for children and psychological and neuropsychological evaluations in an outpatient setting for patients ranging in age from 3 year to early adulthood.
Dr. Barrington provides clinical oversight for all LifeStance Health's healthcare providers. She conducts workers' compensation evaluations and has a small caseload of adult patients for individual therapy. Her experience as a director includes collaborating across disciplines for program development, quality assurance, quality improvement, onboarding, and ongoing training providers for ethics, clinical decision-making, and electronic health records (AdvancedMD, MDSuite, and Practice Fusion).
