About Rebecca Dominguez, LMHC

Rebecca Dominguez is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida who has been practicing since 2020. She has a Master’s in Psychology for Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Rebecca is a certified clinical trauma specialist with extensive experience in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, behavioral issues, and LGBTQ+ concerns. Her positive attitude, warmth, and easygoing nature enable her to establish strong connections with adolescents, teenagers, and adults alike. Rebecca is well-versed in various therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, SFBT, and client-centered therapy, which she applies in individual, family, and group counseling settings. Her primary focus is on building a genuine connection with her clients, as she firmly believes that effective therapy can only occur when there’s a strong rapport. Rebecca is committed to remaining true to her warm and approachable self, ensuring that therapy remains as authentic as possible for those she works with. Rebecca tries to approach therapy on a human level, meeting you wherever you are at. She never pushes and will always allow you to lead, if comfortable. Therapy can be an intimidating step due to the vulnerability in opening up, but Rebecca prides herself on providing a safe, supportive, and judgement free space for you to be your true self. Her focus in life is to empower those whose voices have not been heard and give hope to those who have lost it. Change can be scary, but we can do it together. When she’s not working, Rebecca loves reading, painting, playing tennis, guitar, drums, and ukulele!
