About Stephen Kushner, LMHC

Hello there. My name is Stephen A. Kushner, LMHC. My preferred name is Allen, which is my middle name. I look forward to bringing my 15+ years of experience to you as we go on our journey towards wellness. As a part of providing patient centered therapy, I utilize different theoretical bases, such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) in order to give individualized treatment depending on your needs. I have worked with both children and adults in many different settings, from residential dual diagnosis to inpatient psychiatric units.


In my free time, I am a big believer in being able to disconnect in order to maintain a high level of self-care. My hobbies include running, long distance biking and traveling. I also enjoy spending time with my girlfriend.
