Haley VA Hospital in Tampa, FL. She has worked as a Public Health Nurse for the Florida Department of Health and the Polk County Public Schools. Also, she has many years of experience in care coordination and home health care.
Yalanda Holmes is a dual Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner that provides care for patients across the Lifespan. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a minor in Health Education degree at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, Tallahassee, FL, in 1999.
In 2017, Yalanda graduated from Maryville University of St. Louis, Missouri, where she obtained a Master of Science in Nursing degree and began practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Shortly after, she discovered her love for psychiatry and enrolled in the Maryville University of St. Louis Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program. She earned a Post Master’s Certificate in mental health in August 2020.
