About Yasmin Panjwani, PMHNP

Yasmin Panjwani is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in Florida with a Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice (DNP). Yasmin earned her Master's in Nursing Education (MSN) at University of South Florida and continued her education to become a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Yasmin worked as an APRN and provided wide range of healthcare services to patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. While providing medical care to patients, developed passion in psychiatry. Yasmin realized that many mental health disorders occur concurrently with medical conditions. Her desire to help people with mental illnesses, motivated Yasmin to become a mental health provider. Yasmin earned her Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Liberty University in May 2021 and is ANCC board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Yasmin also earned her DNP degree from the University of South Florida. Yasmin brings unique perspective to healthcare that focuses on both caring and curing. Caring and compassion are her greatest strength. In addition to diagnosing and treating mental illnesses, Yasmin takes time to listen, as well as educate her patients about their illness and treatment and incorporates disease prevention and health promotion strategies. Yasmin enjoys helping people and finds her work very rewarding. Yasmin is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Golden Key International Honors Society. Yasmin's hobbies include traveling, listening to music and sewing.
